Wheel circumference

I was just wondering if it is possible to set the wheel circumference for the steps E6000 system? I've tried looking through the menu options in the setup of the onboard computer but it doesn't seem obvious.
I've just had my bike (2017 Merida espresso 600EQ) back from the shop where the motor was replaced under warranty by shimano (and fitted by the bike shop mechanic) due to there being too much play in the cranks / bottom bracket.
Now that I've got the bike back there seems to be a few differences.
  1. the integrated lights no longer work.
  2. 'Off Road' no longer displays on the startup screen.
  3. On my regular route to and from work, the bike computer seems to reading my speed as faster and distance as longer than before the motor was changed, so this leads me to suspect that the programmed wheel circumference has changed.
I've booked the bike in to look at the lights, but they can't do it until the end of next week but in the mean time I wondered if it was possible to check the programmed wheel circumference. If it is set too large then it means the computer is reading the speed incorrectly and the pedal assist will be cutting out before the speed reaches 25kmh.

I suspect that this all needs to be sorted in a dealer specific software but would be interested to hear if there is a magic button combination or something to unlock hidden features in the onboard computer.

It can be done. The shop mechanic needs to call Shimano support when working on your bike. Via the dealer eTube link-up, 'support' will unlock the Steps program so changes can be made.

At the same time, maybe the missing features can be reset.

I am having the same issue with the used bike I just received. Both the speed and distance on the unit are 10-15% to high so I suspect a circumference setting issue. Anyone confirm they were able to get this adjusted as suggest above?

As per slomoshan post the mechanic at my local bike shop (where I’d purchased the bike) hooked up the bike whilst on the phone to shimano and they then allowed him to make the necessary adjustments.
