What Mount for Moving the Headlight to the Handlebars?

I recently swapped out the suspension for a rigid fork* and now the light can't point forward. I could get a longer screw, but Ravi smartly suggested the lightwould be better placed on the bars anyway.

Does anyone know what kind of mount/clamp you'd use to hold it to the bars?

This would also let you a front rack on the rigid fork (not sure if the suspension has the side eyelets for a rack).

Thanks.

PS has anyone swapped out a different headlight that's also powered by the ebike battery?

*Plan to post this later, liking it so far. Much lighter.

You could get K edge garmin mount like this.. and tilt the light upside down and install it. That is how Trek Super commuter has the M99 light.

Part of the difficulty is that the light has a clamp that has a screw going through it but is not interlocking, while most models are both interlocking and have a through screw.

Without unscrewing it, I measured that black clamp at 1.0 inch wide.

Asked Juiced. Got a useless response.

Even stock, the light wastes much of it's beam illuminating the tire.

what brand and model of bike?

Success! Had to use a zip tie or two to keep the wires mostly out of the light beam. Also need to remove some of those washers to keep the light higher.

The lamp wire wasn't long enough to have it on top of the mount unfortunately.

The upside down mounting is better IMO. Think it looks better. Upside down is how I ran a Cygolite for a long time.

Soon, I will try to fit the BadAss Sharks alongside the headlight I still run at the fork crown. I happen to like the crown mounting location. I don't lose all that much light to the fender, not on my bike, anyway.

A promising wide-angle taillight arrived today. It is pretty small. If it is truly bright it may be a real keeper and I will then retire the Cygolite Hotshot 100 I am presently using on the rear rack mount (have disposed of the stock Lineo AA-battery tail light long ago). Would like to have a taillight wired to the headlight toggle switch already fitted.
