What is the BH Easy Motion Xenion Cross 2015 Bosch Wattage (250 or 350 W) in the US?

Hello, I recently bought a BH Easy Motion Xenion Cross, 2015 model, here in the US. The European site of BH shows that the Bosch engine has 250 Watts. However, the sales guy at the US store where I bought it told me it has 350 Watts. The sticker on the bike shows "25km/h 250 Watt conforme". BTW, it stops supporting paddling at around 19.5 miles per hour which is more than 25 km/h (obviously, that is just how the limits are determined for legal reasons in various countries). Does somebody know what the wattage of those models is or how I could find out (the engine does not state the wattage)? Thanks

350 Watts.
If your engine has red logo on it, it's 350W.
However, there are Performance line engines used in EU but they are electronically restricted to 250W output.
The EU laws are very strict (250 W) compared to US Federal regulation ( 750W) and most of these bikes are imported from EU, so there might be some ambiguity.

Thanks, yes, the Bosch logo is red. Next to it, it states "Performance Line". I bet it's a 350 W engine then. Good!

Looking at the same bike, how do you like it?

So far, I am happy with the bike. No issues. The Shimano component (derailleur) is not top of the line and shifts not perfectly (I think I need to recalibrate it also), but I got the bike for a good price and considering that everything else works well, I think I would recommend it. One can always replace the derailleur with one bought on Amazon (they are not so expensive). Having said that, I have only biked it for around 300 miles including some rough terrain. Who knows what will happen in future quality wise. But, overall, it seems solidly made. Also it is a hybrid or because of it, it has it limits in sharp curves on small forest roads. The design is excellent. It's a bit high overall with only one size so I would not recommend it for somebody with shorter legs or below 6'7" or so. The great thing, honestly, is the design. It's a real eye-catcher next to a Haibike, Hope that is helpful . . .
