Wallke W-PAS 50% regeneration?

Yes, but do you get different levels of assist/speed when you go to different pas levels? Mine reads about 300watts in all levels...
I sent you a link, to the manual, for the controller

These are my voltage settings for each of my 5 PAS levels:

As a suggestion: Take a pic of your advanced settings, then compare them to mine. Specifically the voltage, mine from the factory is set to 48v. Let me know if you still have issues

Check your top speed limit in settings, make sure your battery is fully charged.

OK. Here are my display settings. As you can see, my volts are like yours and my PAS levels all have different % of power. I get about 300 watts of assist on all levels. I can get full power with the throttle in level 5 (900 watts plus), and less in the other levels with the throttle.

@camdon44 , I think the culprit is in your advanced settings. My "Assistant Num" is set to the default of 12; which is the midpoint, of the range.

Also, it looks like your controller has a newer firmware. As my Current limit doesn't have a "Sport" option

I put the Assist Num to 12 and it's still the same... I sent an email to Wallke. Maybe I need a new display or control box... I'm only getting to about 20mph with full throttle on level 5. Max at about 850 to 900 watts with the throttle on level 5... Anyway, I still like the bike... I need to fine tune the derailleur.

Just for my education, under "Current Limit", what are your options ?

Mine are: 07 - 22, in increments of 1, with 18A being my factory/current setting.

My GPS readings are correct with the 28 inch wheel setting. Does yours read accurate at 30? Also, I believe that my speed is only accurate with the speed sensor at 01. I have no clue what the Slow Start is... In the Display Settings, I believe that AL Sensitivity is ambient light sensitivity. Also, I have my Dormancy set at 5 min. I doesn't go off...

Unfortunately I'm not using the phone holder, so I can't do a real time comparison of the controller's speedometer and my phone.

My wheels are set to 28" , If you're referencing the 30" from this image; it's a screen grab out of the pdf file, for the controller.

Slow start is a delay before the motor kicks in, when you resume pedaling; this can become important if you start pedaling mid turn and the motor kicks in before you're ready for the increased speed. When you get a chance, checkout the link that I sent you to the manual (via PM); it has a brief description of each setting.

Yes, I downloaded the display manual even before I got my bike. It doesn't explain slow start, but thank you for the explanation. I'm going to have to deal with Wallke support to get the PAS settings working... Is it your experience that speed sensor needs to be at 01? I will set my slow start to 0 then. I don't have a problem with the power kicking on... What is your understanding of AL Sensitivity? I don't see it doing much... Does your screen shut off at the selected minutes?

Yes, that's what the factory set my controller for. I haven't been inclined to try a different number.
When the light will automatically turn on. I know my light comes on automatically, when I'm indoors. But since I don't ride at either dusk or dawn, I haven't tried to fine tune the AL setting
.
Mine is set to 5 min. The display turned off in the allotted time

Wallke has requested that I send them videos of my PAS settings... I have done that. I had it at 1-5 first and all the PAS levels have the same power. They sent me back an email that said their "technician" said that only 0-3 PAS settings would work on the X3 Pro. I set it to 0-3 and shot a video this morning showing that all 3 levels have the same power... I have not heard back. I'm still thinking that I will need a new control box, display, or both. BTW, my display does not shut off at the allotted time.

Not with Wallke, but I have interactions with vendors in China, for another one of my hobbies and the conversations always go sideways. I've found that if you deluge them with facts and eliminate all other possibilities, they'll acquiesce, at some point.

I could be off, but I'm keying on the "Current Limit". Based on you knowing your voltage is set to 48v, but no way to know what "Sport" equals.

If you're inclined to do some diagnostics, set the "Current Limit" to the two lower settings and note the speed and wattage for each PAS level.

Good Luck

I ordered my x3 pro from Wallke. It arrived on 5-23-20. I fully charged the battery and rode it for 15 miles. My rides have been PAS on all levels and a lot of throttle only. The battery momentarily drops into the 80% but regularly shows 100%. I have not changed any of the settings. I noticed the factory default is set at 3 PAS settings, not 5. It does what I want it to, so I haven't messed with any of the settings. My headlight comes on when the ambient light drops. I have attached pics of my settings.

What's your speedometer showing (as your top speed), on PAS 3, full throttle ?

Wallke finally realized that there is something wrong with my bike. They are sending me a new display and control box... I am not too impressed with the power of this bike... Probably 22mph with full throttle on level... This is a quality bike, but I don't like the seating position compared to my 20 inch fat tire folding bike... It's much more comfortable, and the Bafang motor has more power as it is geared.
