Hi folks,
I'm very tempted to buy a CCX this week, but there are still a couple of aspects that give me pause. I'm trying to hear more about your experiences with the bike, CCX and CCS2 alike, to make a more informed decision.
First issue is that there are stairs to get to my apartment door. It's a wide set of about 10 steps, not very steep, like the image below. I was wondering what the best way would be to bring the bike up and down on a daily basis. I wanted to know if carrying it up would be too annoying and I end up regretting my purchase or, alternatively, if anyone has tried pushing the bike up with walk mode, and how hard that is.
The second issue is comfort. I am used to more upright riding positions and I've seen that the CCX has a pretty aggressive stock position. I have debated adding adjustable stem and more swept back handlebars, but wanted to hear from people who have tried it.
Thanks!
