Anyone here using a Wahoo Kickr indoor trainer with an e-bike?

Thinking about hiring a Wahoo Kickr or similar.

I have never used a Wahoo Kickr or an indoor trainer, thought it may be beneficial for those days where I don’t manage to get out for a ride.

Waste of time with an e-bike?

Use with the e-bike motor on or off?

The whole idea of using an indoor bike trainer seems weird to me, especially with the e-bike (but that's only my own opinion). The issue could be the rear hub size. Vado SL has Road Boost hubs, with the rear hub 12x148 mm, which might be incompatible with Wahoo Kickr. If you must use the trainer, please check the rear hub compatibility first.

I thought an indoor trainer would allow me to maintain fitness if I am unable to ride outside for several days?

Well, no one blames you for that. Just make sure the trainer is compatible with the 12x148 mm rear-hub.
(Personally, I would have died of boredom were I riding an indoor trainer...)

Me too.

Until I try an indoor trainer, probably with Zwift to alleviate the boredom, I won't know.

However it may be preferable to several other forced indoor activities!

I do enjoy getting out for a ride on the SL e-bike (SL E-xercise-Bike) I haven't used the motor yet!

Just make sure the trainer is compatible with the 12x148 mm rear-hub.

Thank you Stefan 👍
