Voltbike Canada just announced their move to a 15,000 sq ft. warehouse facility with 4 loading docks that will allow them to double their staff.

Personally I love their Ambassador program that makes me $100 for every test ride I provide that results in a sale...$300 so far.

Looks like they are becoming the dominant direct to consumer Ebike company in Canada. They have been around since 2014 which is a significant amount of time in the ever changing Ebike market.

We do see a fair number of Voltbikes coming in to our bike shop, so they do seem to be becoming a big player. I wonder how many bikes they sell in a year? I'm actually not at all sure whether direct-to-consumer or local bike shop e-bikes are bigger in Canada. It's actually possible that they both are bigger: it could be that direct to consumer is bigger in unit volume, but LBS is bigger in total dollar value since LBS e-bikes tend towards the higher-end of the spectrum. I wonder if there are any statistics on the relative size of the two?
