Unused Bafang BBS01B Wires

Hi all,
I'm installing a Bafang BBS01B on my electra townie with a nexus 8 internal hub. So I don't plan on using the wires for the light. Or the gear sensor, since with an 8i you should technically switch gears without pedaling. I do not plan on using the throttle either so that is another cable I don't need. Will my motor work ok without hooking these items up? And are there some kind of caps or covers to put on unused cable ends? Or just wrap them in electrical tape and tuck them away? Any advise would be greatly appreciated!

My advice would be to try it and find out.
Don't know of any plugs, but tape or liquid tape for a more permanent solution.

I use a BBS01a and Nexus 8 on my conversion. I have a gear sensor and my older model does not have the light wires, instead I fit a Grin Tech Anderson tap inline with the main power wire between the battery cradle and controller and power the lights directly off the battery current. I rode it for a year without the throttle, also once I accidentally tore out the wheel speed sensor wire after it wrapped around my kickstand, but it turned on and I was able to ride it and change PAS level with an error code and no display, I rode it like that for 3 months before replacing the controller and everything went back to normal. I'm unsure if they changed anything with the b model to make it necessary to have everything plugged in. @JES2020 offers good advice on using liquid tape to blank off the ends if you don't plan on using the light wires.
