Unable to remove battery Aventon Aventure bike

I turn the key and the battery doesn't pop out of the frame, I don't want to risk using something to lever it out and break the plastic, does anyone have a suggestion of how I can do this?

Have you tried pushing in on it while turning the key?

yes I did that. I found out that it was the mounted lock screws were pressing on the battery and making it impossible to remove normally.

Loosen the connections on the battery column outside. It will come out then readjust.
