Rambo Krusader 2.0 Battery Won't Release?

I have a Rambo Krusader 2.0. Yesterday, after my ride, I tried to remove the battery, but the latch wouldn't release the battery. Has anybody else ran into this issue?

I called Rambo Customer Support and they suggested that it might be the latch on the battery. I was able to remove that battery and try my second battery today. However, it also won't release, which is leading me to believe that it might be the lock itself.
