Tire advice: slight irregularity around the bead

In all my years of biking I never changed a single tire until a couple weeks ago. This is the third one I've done and the slight inconsistency around the white strip is bothering me.

I tried deflating the tire and moving it around, to no avail. Also brought it to the shop and the (junior tech) tried the same, but then said it was fine. The paint around the edge of the tire doesn't seem to be machine-perfect, but I'm nots sure.

Normal, or bring it to another shop?

Yeah, that tire is not fully seated. Do not ride it until you seat it properly. Did you inflate it to the maximum pressure the tire can handle? If not, try that. In the past, with Tannus Armour inserts, I've had to temporarily inflate 10-15psi higher than is stamped on the tire to seat the bead, and then let air out.

Really glad you chimed in, because I was riding on it on busy roads and it felt the slightest bit off..

What did and didn't work:
Tried over filling, no go --
Deflating and massaging the tire out + soapy water around the area, better but the dotted line above the bead wasn't uniform, no go --
Deflating and soaping the entire tire rim on both sides, -- popped into place, perfect!
