Those Koolstop pads

Hey @Douglas Ruby these are my front Koolstop pads after 6000km - I have a spare set for when these finally wear out and the wear surfaces are barely distinguishable from the new ones!

So if anyone who is suffering with Formula brakes needs an incentive to switch, just do it.

Note that if you do you just need to nip one row of fins off. A tweak with a pair of long nose pliers will do it.

My fronts look like that. Rears got messed up pulling the wheel and putting it back without removing the pads.

TIP: When you remove and reinstall the rear wheel, pull the rear pads. Getting the cassette, chain, torque arm and disc all aligned takes more dexterity than I have. By removing the pads, disc alignment ceases to be an issue.

Wow, that's really impressive. I bought 5 pairs of Shimano B01S pads a year ago, and now I am just about to use the last one. I do not recommend them. I have to change them every 1200km /745 miles) in the best case, and I do not consider myself a person who use the breaks too often, except when emergency rises. And I haven't even mention the fact that I had to remove them once in a while to clean and rub them with sandpaper, because they become very noisy and less effective (though the Swedish weather has much to do with it I guess). I will definitely try something else, like those pads you're showing.
