Since the Superdelite Mountain is a spinoff model of the Superdelite with the Mountain being more "off-roading mountain bike trail riding" I thought having a Mountain owner thread would be cool. Thoughts? Please share if you own a Superdelite Mountain too. Plus, if you have a YouTube riding channel please share that too.

My Superdelite Mountain with Rohloff E14 is strictly for off-roading on dirt paths that have rocks and roots plus I'm now starting to go downhill riding over rocks and roots. I'm a lifelong roadie but very new to mountain biking. I've made some really nice upgrades to the bike that I've notched a pretty big improvement for me over rocks and roots.

I record videos of every ride I do and spend way too many hours editing the footage to hopefully have a compelling video that people "hopefully" enjoy.

With the Superdelite Mountain, the Fabric bottles are way to tall plus over challenging bumpy terrain they fly off the bike (user experience) Someone from the Riese and Muller Owners FB group suggest Fidlock TWIST bottle 450 + bike base so I just placed an order for two bottles. https://fidlock-bike.us/collections/sets/products/twist-bottle-450-deluxe-bike-base
Or a small back hydration pack. They even make small fanny/waist hydration packs. Useful on a FS bike.

That's some bike. Taking a quick look at your last video, I will checkout more, that trail looks like the trails I ride in PA. Double track, cross country style.

Thank you. I run really hot so my thinking is I don’t want a water pack on my back. But, for mountain trail riding I can see the benefits of having quick access via the water tube.

My first image captured with my new iPhone 14 MAX Pro’s new 42mp camera was of the Superdelite Mountain. The file is way to big for this forum so I captured a screen shot of my iPhone screen. Todays ride was the most epic one so far with the Superdelite. I met a fellow mountain biker named Chris who allowed me to follow him and he took me on a completely new trail for me. About 50% harder & technical than any I’ve done so far. Lexington, Belmont and Waltham, MA.

The GoPro 11 Helmet cam screenshots as I super braked hard not expecting this rock obstacle/feature straight down "adventure". I'm very new to mountain biking so hopefully, soon I'll be able to try out harder features.

I've watched your videos on Youtube and enjoy them 👍 I also recently ordered a fidlock bottle, but alas it doesn't fit unless I leave the Bordo lock at home. I have the 590 cl, so if your bottle is smaller it might just fit. I'm a big fan of Camelback Hydration packs and I have just replaced my 25 year old camelbak with a new Camelbak M.u.l.e Pro 14 litre rucksack with enough room for some snacks, tools, a puncture repair spray and other bits and bobs. It has a three litre bladder and like all good quality rucksacks it's suspended from your back with a streched mesh. It's very comfortable, and doesn't move around, and on top of all it ventilates so you don't become sweaty and uncomfortable on your back.

Thank you Neville, for you rely plus watching my YouTube ride videos. If I’m going the backpack water route I’m looking at this Swedish company as a fellow rider I met HIGHLY suggest it.

I tried new more adventurous trail riding with “features” for the first time with jumping over trees and going pretty fast; for me as a new mountain biker.

I didn’t go down this rock but someday I will. 🥳😎

Very short for me ride video showing what is new on the bike plus the most features I've done on the Superdelite Mountain; jumping over trees and rocks plus going pretty fast for me as A NEW MOUNTAIN BIKER.,

New FIDLOCK magnet twist water bottles 450ML. I used the same screws and spacers that came with the Fabric. I actually liked the distance from the bike.

The Fabric was too tall for the Superdelite Mountain, so I switched to the new ones. They didn’t fly off on rocky tree roots downhill like the Fabric.

I had one of the best rides so far on Superdelite Mountain. I met a really nice fellow mountain biker Chris who allowed me to follow him on new trails with features. I did get too close to him and had a slight mishap by touching his rear tire. I got back up and continued on the epic ride. We chatted for a while which was great. Super fun ride with new features I haven't tried before.

Nice video. It helped me find the entrance to top section of the single track going down into Belmont where you ran into some rocky drops. I have more fun coming up single track like these days than going down. I don't do many logs or rock walls either due to the low clearance of mid drive. My philosophy of riding is - live to ride another day - which includes both me and the bike, so I do whatever I need to avoid injury to both of us.

Thank you. I got lucky I met Chris and for him showing me a whole new path. I like learning new skill sets plus I like going fast but hopefully doing so safely. With more experience I’ll be able to ride over these types of features.

These amazing Hope Cranks 155mm Bosch E-Bike arrived today. I hope they fit on the R&M Superdelite Mountain.

I couldn’t wait to install these so I did them tonight in our kitchen after the Mrs went to bed. They are PERFECT with plenty of distance on R&M Superdelite Mountain with Rohloff.

Hi Walter, I have a superdelite now and have a superdelite mountain ordered and should have by the beginning of 2023. (Both purchased at east coast e-bikes) I like your you tube videos. I have a question regarding the 155 cranks you installed, do they make a difference on the pedal strikes, I ask because I use my superdelite on some intermediate trails and have lots of pedal strikes and I believe the mountain has the same crano’s as the superdelite?

thank you kin advance for your anticipated response,
