Super Commuter Version 1.1

We can ship to EU, and ship the battery separately. Let me know if you're interested and I can help Place the order for you. Thanks.

The good thing with this bike is that he won't necessarily have to use your battery will he/she. I used to fly drones and got out of the hobby due to the difficulty in shipping and purchasing batteries, even a tiny 4.2 volt cell.

That is true. They can use their own battery if that's easier. Thanks!

I would seriously consider this offered as a frameset/motor/electronics combo. I have no need for all the other high end stuff added. Just prefer to add my own stuff according to my own requirements.

Feliz- None of the shipping companies will allow you to ship a 4.2 volt cell? Are they that strict due to it being in the Hazmat/DG category? There are many posts on this site stating how difficult it is for E-bike batteries to be shipped by consumer, however, I did not think a battery that small fell into the same category. News to me...

Bob, to be honest I never tried to buy one battery and have it shipped it was always at least six but still not much. The laws/regulations are odd though. If you purchase a drone say in China, they can ship a battery with it, that's not a problem, I assume it's the same with phones etc.

I've had bikes delivered ( to Canada ) with batteries installed and no paperwork, if they ship it separately ( from nearly any country ) it comes with a bunch of paperwork and requires a signature.

Back to drones, a lot of companies ship the batteries to the Netherlands first and then someone, I don't know who, ships them from there, I don't know why they use the Netherlands. When I was no longer able to get replacement batteries I got out of the hobby, that was a couple years ago.

I have and have flown many RC aircraft since 2012 (exclusively FPV racing drones since 2014). I have no issues buying batteries(currently have over 100) and have no idea what you are talking about. Sure if you want to buy 100 at a time, good luck.

I do not quite understand the battery shipment business either. I have seen some posts where the un-certified consumer would rely on a loophole to ship an E-bike battery. Depends on who is working the counter at your local UPS/Fed Ex store. Great Felize. Thanks for clarifying!

easiest is to take the battery to a HAZMAT certified Fedex center and they will do all the paperwork and shipping for you.

For example: to ship a 880whr battery from Boston to Chicago was like $35 incl of all the paperwork at a Fedex authorized center. Very reasonable.

Well, that's within the same country. I'm in Canada and it costs a fortune for me to get a battery shipped here from another country. It's not only duties and taxes but the shipping companies can charge huge handling and brokerage fees. Boston to Chicago would have been a land shipment and probably a lot easier/cheaper.

A great ride for jamming across town with a backpack and little to no gear. I'm sure it's a fun ride on a day you don't need to do anything. Not a bike for extreme touring but beautiful. I would never buy any bike that has to use a specific motor that fits the frame, far too limiting and for me far too under-powered.

You're the the first person I know of to call the ultra underpowered . I don't find any of the BBSXX series of motors underpowered. Both my HD and ultra
are running 1600 watts and have taken me up any incline I can find. You must live in the Himalayas😁

I was referencing a production ebike with a Bosch motor, not the BBSXX motors. I use a HD also and have no trouble climbing. I really believe that 1000W is more than enough for anything if you have the right gearing for where you are riding.
