Step Thru Help needed please!

My husband and I are looking for step thru ebikes. We want one with a throttle, but not sure if thumb or half twist is best. We want 500w or greater 48v 13ah battery or higher and preferably Kevlar tires and all the other bells and whistles are good but not super important. We're both around 5'10" and are just leisure riders not commuters. We have kind of narrowed it down to igo elite 2, igo berr, igo Atwater or Bonaventure, orrr Radcity, or Thunder from Richmond ebikes. We live in Richmond BC and want to take the bikes on hilly holidays. I have tried to compare all the choices and they are all pretty similar so I guess I'm hoping for any suggestions on these models or any good experiences with these or any other step thrus. Thanks for your help.

To answer your first question, I have used both types of throttle. It is really a matter of preference. I didn't care for the twist throttle because it requires a full turn of the wrist, where the thumb throttle is just an easy press of the thumb. Someone on this forum posted a device that simply turns a twist throttle into a thumb throttle. I bought one and it works perfectly. Here is the link, if you're interested:

Lacking the detail you are looking for, but plenty of eye candy can be found here https://electricbikereview.com/forums/threads/step-thru.15620/

Thumb vs half-twist is a matter of preference.

I suspect there is a reason why in otherwise expensive Canada this Richmond Thunder costs $CAD 500 less than RAD City Step Through.
They are short on details in Richmond, but it has all the signs of what is called "Chinese import" - something designed and made entirely in China by unknown manufacturer(s). Hopefully the seller would provide some service.
A few things stand out: Thunder has a bit smaller battery than the City, lighter-duty rack (common aftermarket rack, not welded like on City), and larger frame size (the latter shouldn't be a problem for 5'10" person).
