Couple of odd things I have ridden by a couple of years ago, just stumbled across pictures when I was looking for something else. The septic pumper was in my hometown. While riding in Kona I came across this unique bike, guess those Hawaiians can’t afford carbon fiber so they go with wood fiber! I talked to the owner, he said he spent 2 years building it working on it when he had time, saw him riding it slowly a little bit, so I guess it is more than just a wall hanger.

worst garage sale ever. my daughter said there was a moving sale and what was left was labeled free and these people came and grabbed it all and have been trying to sell it for at least 3 months. There is a TV with a cracked screen couch other crap that got added to it. But the problem is it's been rained on several times just last week got half an inch of rain on it. They have tried selling drinks too.

this guy is a guard, sort of. he has been out there for two months every weekday. not sure what he is watching as I think they are moving or something the yard used to be full of AC units. he had a canopy for a while.

Pretty sure he's the Guardian of The Portal. Wouldn't go in there if I were you. Trust me, you do NOT wanna end up in the 11th dimension.

I have seen forks broken in half by a rabbit. they don't get out of the way like squirrels I was chasing one this morning and it kept zigzagging across my path.

Question: If the back wheel goes sideways in an emergency stop ,which brake am I pulling too hard? I have been told different things by different people. Some say 50/50 braking pressure and some say 60/40 front /back and some say 60/40 back /front ?

well yes the back takes less effort to lock up. but the best way to know is to test it. Now if it locks up at 30mph because a bag strap got caught and you're fishtailing like a loon, that's a different story. wore the rubber off a spot on my tire and had to ride back on the foam protection thump thump thump.

Yeah, I didn't secure a bag properly a couple weeks ago. Had to cut it out of the wheel, then use pliers to get the shirt out of the brakes. Of course it happened the week after I put a new rotor and new pads on. Still trying to get the rotor straightened out ..
