Steveston is an old fishing village which of course has now become gentrified and is a great place to grab lunch and a beer on a patio..

I followed this rider because I did not know the area . He was young and fit with a heart monitor so I guessed he might be going on a long ride. I was right. He guided me on the best routes for about half of the 103k trip

I started carrying a hammock I picked up at REI. Stuffs into a sack about the size of a grapefruit so now rides include naps. Life is good.
