With spring still officially a little over two months away, it’s still looking much like a frozen planet here. On this day, the rime frost and intermittent fog made it appear much colder but in reality, it was a relatively mild -10C. No wind thankfully.

The trail in that last pic looks a tad precarious.
Yeah, there’s no way I would have been able to make it up that short climb without the ISPs. I’m really grateful that the trails were predominantly hard pack or ice as any amount of loose snow would have had me pushing the bike up.

Trail tip of the day. Remember to drink responsibly, folks.
Now if one conveniently had a couple of cases of brewskis along, gaining traction up the steeper trails might be much easier and would also allow you to quench your thirst afterwards. 🍻👍

You will get your workout in those conditions Pdog ! The only snow around here is the filthy black stuff piled up into the corner of shopping malls. (-:

I’m afraid that we'll have to wait a bit longer until the landscape looks anything similar to what it does in PoCo. Which reminds me, I might require a bit of advice/tips from you and @DaveMatthews with regards to nav routes through parts of the lower mainland/VRD.

At least the temps are now more in sync with riding outside compared to what they were last month. My mood and general demeanor then were not what you would call being, ‘respectful towards others’.

During a break in the rain I rode my motorbike, a Grom of course. But I did mount this bike and poster on my living room wall. Got the bike for thirty bucks a couple of weeks ago. She's so pretty she became wall art.

That is a sweet looking bike and $30 well spent no doubt! That reminds me that I gave away my 1980s acoustic Cannondale road bike a few years ago to a young woman who was working as a mechanic in a bike shop while attending medical school. I still have fond memories of being young and strong enough to ride the hell out of it ,but there is no turning back the clock. My wife still has hers but both tires have been flat for years ,maybe decades.

Sure thing Pdog .... be glad to help in that area. Just let me know what, where ,and when.

Foofer you forgot the kitchen sink! That is a sweet bike. How do you like the double battery setup?
its a bit of a pain to get the battery in. but I don't use it much. when I bough try bike my wife could not ride the tandem so I went on long rides. but by the time the y got al the parts we were ridignthe tandem. but its good when I need it. thats why I got the trek so I would not have to buy a spare battery.
