"Oh oh I've got sand in my moving parts again....sigh" If your bike could talk.Just got onto the beach and this pair caught my eye. They were pretty chill about me stopping and taking a picture.

Nice! That’s one way of giving back during the holiday season even though the stranger likely had no idea that his good dead would fortuitously pay off.At last the rain washed the snow away leaving a very rideable 5 degree , cloudy but dry day. I headed towards Steveston. When I hit West Richmond Dyke trail I encountered many flocks of birds passing overhead. 110 kms later I arrived home to find that my saddle bag had taken a dircet hit. Did those fowl Fowls get me also? I checked my helmet only to discover that my Endura rain cover was missing. My bad for not securing it properly this morning. Riding in the PNW demands a proper helmet rain cover so I rode to the Trek store where they informed me they were out of stock. On my way home I caught a glimmer of yellow on a street sign as I streaked by. Someone had decided to hang it there to aid in our reunification. Thank you nameless stranger! View attachment 142333
We hit a high here of -15C (-23C WC) and it was just rideable along the Heritage Ranch trails. Very sunny and dry so I guess we’re even.At last the rain washed the snow away leaving a very rideable 5 degree , cloudy but dry day.
