Awesome! Upon seeing your pics, I lost my train of thought for a moment. I can only imagine what it felt like.Did a ride on the GAP trail this week alongside the Western Maryland RR tracks and got a few shots of the newly restored Baldwin #1309 steam locomotive. The pix don't do it justice, the thing is huge! It's the largest steam locomotive in regular scheduled service in the US. The ground shook so much as it passed, I thought it was an earthquake!

Razors Edge Trail at Canmore
An incredible trail with stellar views and exciting terrain that puts it in a class of its own. Razors Edge is like no other ride in the Bow Valley. It’s a BIG all mountain...www.trailforks.com

Situations like that happen to me more often than I would prefer. People always seem to freeze then make a hasty judgement call and panic whenever they’re confronted by a bike at a controlled intersection. They don’t seem to get the fact that cyclists also have to obey the same rules of the road and rights of way as they do. Many times, it’s usually a case when they think that by obliging, they believe that it’s a show of courtesy when in fact, they sometimes create more confusion for the person(s) on the bike.this red car sat there till we were half way across then decided to go. I dont know if there is a no turn on red there or not we had the crosswalk light too. but if not what was he waiting for then?
I dont see it too often anymore. but it depends on what bike I am riding a more normal bike it would happen more my recumbent not at all. this was a tandem so a little odd. my headlight had to be shining right in their eyes and its bright.Situations like that happen to me more often than I would prefer. If it's a rail trail, chances are they are remnants of some sort of railroad infrastructure.Found this weird bunker like thing on a trail. Any ideas? When I climbed on top of it. It appeared to have a large metal door on top. I found two of em.
Riding a recumbant bike in traffic requires more courage than I could ever muster ...gulp!I dont see it too often anymore. but it depends on what bike I am riding a more normal bike it would happen more my recumbent not at all. this was a tandem so a little odd. my headlight had to be shining right in their eyes and its bright.
