intensity to the throttle
I normally do not use throttles except for the elderly and disabled. But I could make a special rheostat just for that. If it were Bluetooth it could be remote or tied to the torque sensor.

There is a good chance I will be tricking out this beauty, Brooks, leather grips, 11-50 9-sp cassette, and silver DM02 motor. It is actually a Globe Haul. That is the same name reused by Specialized for their new matte, fat 20", hunky-chunky hub-drive. I will do nice medium-wide gravel tan walls. The owner loves single track climbs and is into climate action. Those are classic lines with good bones. I love the woody deck. Perfect for maybe a recycled mahogany custom surf rack, with a speaker playing Dick Dale and the Beach Boys on loop with some Bob Marley. It will also get a silver fox tail on the back.

That bike has a long wheel base for a smooth ride but not too long, an integrated strong rack, and lightweight Al frame. It has a double wide kickstand that re-deploys to the non-drive side. I love the paint. Double wide panniers will go under the wood deck with a crossed bungee system that can be applied on top for much larger luggage. See there is no yellowing of the dork-disk or reflectors. It is a twenty-year vampire bike, protected from UV and ozone. LA bikes would rot immediately in the late 1970's due to ozone. This bike was kept inside in the dark for 20-years. When finished it will run down the new Haul and will not look electric.

As requested. This is my 2021 Cannondale Tesoro Neo X Speed, bought as a leftover in May 2025. There are significant modifications. Build thread
I need to see it!
I am just finishing a cargo with a DM02 and a Box 4 8-sp, 11-42. I will shorten the display wire in the morning. And do the programing. Then it is done. It was an Extracycle with a Bionx. I mixed three colors of paint to match for touch-up.

My 16 year old baby boomer trike. I put a direct drive cargo trike motor with a 48v 14ah battery and have 250 miles on it so far. I have done a fair amount of miles at state and county parks. I am retired and like to ride it around Sealy Texas. It's quite fun to go to town on, and I can cruze between 13 and 16mph anywhere in the area, but generally keep it around 10. The only extra expenses that I have acured are for not knowing about bike tires, as opposed to running true cargo bike tires. Iam trying out a pick-up tire now. We will see how it works out. Yesterday around Sealy and San Filipi Texas.

I missed getting that 2010 pristine Globe Haul 1 because the potential new owner was getting on a plane and missed the window of opportunity. I love that Pea Soup Anderson green, the woody deck, and the integrated rack that holds 120-pounds. I'll have to keep my eye out. In 2011 they had a nice dark blue.

Velotric changed the rear rack bracket design to show more clearance for the brake lights, it's just a small change but apparently they are listening and improving their products. Both bike were bought from the same LBS at the same time, the one I upgraded with a Velotric rear rack and fenders from the LBS. The other bike I purchased a rear rack directly from Velotric, and that's the one that partially blocks the rear brake lights. Both bikes have been fantastic and I had 2 Aventon bikes before these, I much prefer the Velotric bikes for the way they fit and ride.

Many thanks for this rack update. Going back to the dealer to see if I can swap for the new version.

It's just a small bend on each side of the bottom of the rear rack support, very subtle but noticeable on the brake lights. I'm going to try and tweak my original one to copy the new design.
Could you post a photo of the new one to show my dealer — and maybe to copy?

There's now a 2.0 MB file size limit per photo. Thanks!

When your looking at the rear rack supports from the back, it looks not much difference. But when riding behind and the brake lights are applied there is a good bit of difference. I believe Velotric made this change as a temporary fix, and a better design is in the works for the next Breeze bike upgrade.
