Show us pictures of where you ride your ebikes!

I had planned on riding either my MTB or gravel bike today for about a 1.5 hour ride, but I was so wiped out and dragging in the morning I had to go to the Creo. Last night, I rode a short 30 minute ride on the Creo. But the day before, I rode a spirited ride - a combined bike trail and MTB trail ride on my XC MTB for 25 miles with a friend who is a former racer. All analog.

This morning It took me forever to get ready. But once I was out there it is worth it. I need to put some extra socks in my car, since only one made it today.

So I kept the majority of the ride at 40% assist level and did not go into gears 11 or 12 for the first third of the ride. I was trying to keep the pace mellow.

As I was finishing my ride tonight, three or so McLarens passed me, came from behind me. I could hear them coming. So I snapp them as they passed. one had a decal on the side “Monterey Car Week Rally 2026” Woodside Road is one of the roads where sports cars and sports bikes like to push it…so I was not surprised to see these cars. I have seen all sorts of racers and motos.

I've seen F1 cars with more ground clearance than that last McLaren. Do they send scouts out ahead to ensure there aren't any potholes or speedbumps on their route?
^^ That is a good question. there is always road work on these roads, so maybe they have someway of communicating that? I am clueless on that topic!

Much better to ride mellow than not at all! Have to remind myself of that sometimes.

Didn't have nearly as good an excuse as you, but yesterday's hill and coast ride was more of a struggle than usual for me, too. So nice to be able to keep going and actually enjoy it (kind of) just by upping the assist a notch.

In the end, averaged about 75 ft/mi on the hilliest 10 miles in a mix of ECO and SPORT. Not bad considering how lousy I felt when I started. Finished with 5 mi of rolling Coast Highway as a reward.

Nice jersey! I'm ready to add some non-solid full-zip jerseys to my closet. Nothing too wild or Tour de Francy. Found yours and a zillion other reasonably priced styles on

Do you like their quality and durability for the money? Zippers work OK?

Yeah, I felt great afterwards, that is why I love the Creo!

Beautiful view you have on that hill at least!! You had a great elevation ratio on the ride!

I am similar to you, I have mostly solid jerseys, and have zero team or sponsor jerseys. I like high visibility orange or red for road rides.
The California Republic jersey I have is not from Freestyle Cycling, although theirs is similar. I wanted something interesting to add to my mix. I found these two at Primalwear years ago. The quality is very good and the zippers work well. They are in similar price range (clearance/sale prices) as those I see on Freestyle's site.

Thanks! Can't say how grateful I am to have the Coast Highway (US Hwy 101) just 5 minutes from home by bike.

Ode to the Coast Highway
What's not to like here? Good to great bike infrastructure almost everywhere, often surprisingly unbusy, decent drivers, good to great pavement, and good to perfect cycling weather almost all year.

All in all, excellent year-round riding conditions from La Jolla Shores north to Oceanside along the SW SoCal coast.

Then there's the scenery, which I've shared here often. You could mistake this for an AI fantasy, but it's a real untouched phone camera shot from 30 ft off the Coast Highway at Terramar.

The Coast Highway's usually within blocks of the beach along this stretch. Ocean views for much of it, but many beach and sea cliff views, too. Often with tasty lagoon, terrace or mountain views inland.

Sorry, don't mean to brag, just good for the soul to appreciate a good thing out loud now and then.

Thanks for the Primal Wear lead. Some interesting patterns there. Like you, I don't wear ads.
