Show us pictures of where you ride your ebikes!

Looks like you've got some wear on cogs 10 and 11, but the cassette isn't dead yet.

if you compare the angle/hole on the top cog and the two lowest you can spot the wear on the cogs.
Also look at #2 and #3. You will see some wear in the shift ramp area as Base pointed out. I would just plan on a new cassette with the next chain unless shifting degrades.

Thanks, guys — now I know what to look for. Just one of the reasons I love EBR.

Thanks! Lots of fond Mt. Tam memories in those photos.

Rattled my brain and pounded my wrists down those long, jarring rocky descents many a time on a rigid 1985 Rock Hopper. Probably lost 10 IQ points to the brain microtrauma in the process.

I'd get to the bottom of the Old Railroad Grade and feel like I'd been worked over with a lead pipe. But what a place to ride!
Jeremy, yep Old Railroad Grade is bumpy! and I already had a slightly sprained wrist. The Future Shock only helps so much.
I too first rode it on a rigid...mine was a 1991 Stumpjumper. Back then 1.95" tires where standard so that is only 50mm. and with tubes. This morning I recall the many pedal strikes...never had so many. Shimano SPDs. They occurred more on the uphill than down. I was really wishing that I had 165mm cranks...the stock length is 172.5mm on a size 54.
