This is the blemish on the Rover. It was from the handle on the rack that holds the bike. I now wrap a towel around the frame.

What kind of recumbent did you get? Electric drive train?

I bought an ICE e-trike with Shimano steps system. My wife is looking at a Terratrike Rambler with a Bosch system. We live on a hill so the power is needed.

Rahn, how are you and your wife liking your trikes?

My wife got an ICE Adventure with Shimano Steps 8000 after knee replacement surgery. After trying it out for myself, I picked out a Catrike Dumont without assist. My logic was I’m six years younger than her and this will make us “even”. Boy was I wrong! She left me on the hills even towing a Burley trailer with our Cairn Terrier

Lucky for me, our LBS has a 30 day return policy and took the Dumont back. I contemplated adding the Bosch e-assist, even test rode one but I really didn’t have a physical need for a trike. I ended up exchanging it for a Specialized Turbo Vado and really liked it. We now ride together again and are having a blast.
