SDuro 6.0 allmtn update

So after some interest in my bike I thought I’d update everyone on what I’ve been doing over winter. After upgrading the drive train my attention turned to a very cluttered cockpit and some issues i’ve found while riding.I changed out the stock magura brakes with hope e4’s and the shifters with some Shimano XT’s,the reason for this is two fold : the stock shifters have no adjustment in them and magura use an off set mounting on their brakes add to this a dropper paddle and my reach was compromised,at the same time I also swapped out the dropper for a Magura Vyron e-lect post, the transformation has been incredible! No more missed shifts or accidentally hitting the dropper paddle.I’ve also learned how to build my own wheels, and how to disassemble and re build my forks,on that note the rockshox yari’s are not a bad fork but my other bikes use a charger damper and after you’ve ridden with that a mo-con was never going to cut it,so now I have a yari with a charger2 damper a luftkappe air piston and a dynamic volume chamber (simple explanation 1 negative and 2 positive air springs) the rear shock was tuned to match, the results have been dramatic the bike grips like a limpet on any surface but is buttery smooth over the bumps.I still have a few things that I’m experimenting with but I’ll save that for my next post.

Just purchased this model, haven’t received it yet. But I was curious about air pressure psi for the suspension. The one I test rode felt like it was setup for some one quite a bit heavier than me. Is there an owners manual that recommends a starting psi to begin with?
I used to race MX back in the day and understand compression and rebounds, but ebikes and air only suspension is completely new to me lol. Pretty sure I’m going to need to get a air pressure gauge that has a sensitive reading. Looking forward to getting back on the trail!!

Hi mate, assuming this comes with a rockshox fork and shock tha air pressure and sag guides are printed on the forks, also Sram/rockshox have just released a tuning guide on their web site there is a long number printed on the back of the steerer crown you just type that in with your weight including riding kit and it will give you a base starting point for your suspension, hope this helps! You may or may not get a shock pump with your purchase,if you don’t get one you cannot pressure these with a normal bike pump because a shock pump is high pressure low volume.

Cool I’ll check out the website,
Thanks for the heads up on the pump!
