Schindelhauer. Has anyone tried this ebike ?

When I was searching magazines at Germany I came across this ebike. I don't know if it is possible to purchase in USA. I want to ask if anyone tried them ?

The design looks awesome, I guess it will be perfect for commuting.

The price tag seems little bit rich tough (Even European price)

eBike news out of Germany has shown quite a few bikes that look like this. Smaller batteries and motors that are sub 20-mph are very common and most popular for commuting. Just saw one that looks like the one you pictured with an automatic transmission. In general, we are seeing more frames with integrated or hidden battery design and cable routing. We are also seeing some more automotive companies who are applying their skills to eBikes.

Ampler had such a bike and it sells in their store for a semi-reasonable price. The newer models have fenders.

It's EU only though...

Ampler Curt with belt drive-very sweet bike. Love the stealthy looks of it. Hope to see more like this here and everywhere for that matter. Thanks for posting!
