That's cool, do you work with eBikes.ca Andrew? I saw your (GRIN) thing and wasn't sure what you meant or if you're friends with those guys or something. Love the work they do!

No connection. Just brought one of there DC-DC converters from a local retailer. That said I understand that Jason (?) at http://ebikes.ca is behind Endless Sphere and by all accounts a lot of what they put out in terms of accessories and online calculators, e.g. there spoke calculator, is pretty well respected.

Yeah, I've heard he's a great guy. Maybe we'll meetup at an event someday? Have you been to any events Andrew? I've heard Interbike will be open to the public this year in Vegas.

I am in Perth, Australia the most isolated capital (state) city in the world. It takes less flying time to go internationally than it is to fly to the other side of the country :) Sadly we do not have bike related events here and in the country there is only one of any note held in Melbourne.

That's right... I forgot you were "Down Under" but I'm also kind of jealous. The surfing is pretty cool and you guys have a neat country :)

My commute to and from work takes me past some of the better Perth surf beaches ... surfing is not so good here but in summer ... swell is much better in winter I believe.

We were just the opposite in Northern California with bigger waves in the winter (and Great White Sharks). People would call it "Sharktober" and everyone felt a bit more paranoid. Your commute is beautiful, interesting to see riding on the opposite side of the street
