Rebuilding an E Bike battery

I have just acquired a Prodeco electric bike. Not had a lot of use but the battery is dead. I have been trying to find replacement cells so that i can fix this myself. It is a 38.4 volt system with 12 double cell battery's. Have found some expensive 3.2 volt replacements but they are too big. Mine are approx 138mm X 60mm x 15mm thick for a double pack. Would anybody know where I can obtain these batteries or something smaller to fit in my pack? This is my first post so hoping this is the correct place for this inquiry. Thanks Richard

Hello Richard and welcome. I can't help you, other than a reply to keep your thread alive, but you might do better to post in the advanced forum for repairs if your question isn't answered here. Lots of knowledgeable folks there.

Some more details are essential. Pictures too. How old is the pack, which cells? Pictures and more pictures.

Thanks for your reply and I will re post if needed. Thanks again

Those pouch packs are even more difficult than the cylinder shaped liIon cells. In USA Battery Hookup has them intermittently available.

I’d be looking at getting a pack from Ping Battery if you stay with the pouch packs. LiFePo4

or I’d take a flyer with the company in this thread. https://electricbikereview.com/forums/threads/is-this-battery-pack-for-real-106.43001/#post-432119

you don’t need high output cells.

OR an 18650 pack using a build kit. Solderless kits are available. There’s a decent EU cell source with first run cells from salvage. https://18650.lt/

I assume you've seen this site?
Looks like they just build a standard 13s lithium pack in the enclosure and scrap the LiFePO4 pouch cells. Maybe you can find a ready-made shrink wrapped lithium pack that would fit in that enclosure?...or as suggested, build one yourself.
