Question to Haibike Full Suspension owners

I have what sounds like chain noise from my 2016 Haibike FullSeven RS-X that has 1500 miles on it.
It was quiet for the first several hundred miles but then began making the noise. Stops when I stop pedaling.
Replaced the chain and the bearing in the Sprocket equalizing part. Got quieter but a hundred or so miles is back at it.
Dealer said it is normal for Full Suspension and was quieter earlier 'cause it was new. Hard to accept that.
I regularly clean and lube the chain, ride mostly on pavement, and keep the bike clean.

So, anyone with a Full Suspension Haibike have any feedback? Sure would be appreciated!

Do you only hear the noise, or do you feel anything also? Is the shifting still good, or do you notice any deterioration? How do you clean the chain and what type of lubricant do you use?

There are several pivot points in the suspension. Have you checked all those pivot point bearings?

Noise in all gears, but seemingly quieter in high gears. Only noise, no physical sensation. Shifts well. I use Finish Line Speed Degreaser to clean the chain, and White Lightning Clean Ride to lube it.
Hard to describe the noise. Was thinking of trying to record it, but wind noise might mask it, but will try.

There are several pivot points in the suspension. Have you checked all those pivot point bearings?

Definitely not from the pivot points. Noise goes away when I stop pedaling, is constant otherwise.

I've got a 2016 FullSeven S Pro with 1300 miles on it now.
It has become a bit noisier than when new.
I'm not concerned.
It rides well and hasn't suffered battery fatigue.
I just ran a 2 mile errand and didn't need to fire up a vehicle.
This bike is the shizzle and I'm still smitten.

Yes, I totally agree with you that our bikes are "the shizzle and I'm still smitten" (Never heard that expression before).
My concerns are mostly from the same place in my head that doesn't like rattles and other noises in my vehicles, that kind of thing.
I've had people respond to me "turn up the volume of the radio!".

I think the proper term is "shiznizzle" according to Urban Dictionary... And yes, my '16 Full Seven is definitely that regardless of the spelling!
I've go around the same miles on mine and just last week replaced the chain AND cassette because is started to jump in and out of the gears. I had a similar problem as the OP a while back, and found the cones on the rear wheel had come loose causing the rear wheel to move laterally ever so slightly. Easy to check. Also make sure your axle is tight, but don't over tighten.

By replacing the chain and cassette did that eliminate or lessen the noise?

I have replaced the chain 2 other times (get a gauge to easily check it) and understand the chain to cassette replacement ratio is typically 3 to one - so I was right on. Prior to replacement it didn't really make noise per se, but was jumping in and out of the gears indicative of a worn cassette. My previous loose wheel cones cause the noise.
Oh, if you have an Xduro, the bearing in the little sprocket that elevates the chain can get dry and make a racket. Mine did. It's a sealed bearing, but by carefully prying off the seals you can clean and re-grease. I did once a while back, but needs it again, or preferably replaced. They are a pretty common bearing.

I'm still on the OEM chain. I took it in for a tune up and software update. A good bike tech is priceless, an ebike tech with upgrades is harder to find. My chain spec'd out with no appreciable stretch/wear and my gearing jumps were easily adjusted away. Sprockets and teeth look good. Just like the motos, if you keep it in a midrange gear and don't overload it, the wear is minimal. I routinely do street climbs of 1300-1800 ft from my home. It's a primary reason I bought the ebike.

Yes, jumping out of gear is usually a cable in need of adjusting. A worn sprocket will have sharp teeth. I have over 1,000miles on the stock chain with no measureable wear. I've had a backup hd KMC E bike chain on hand for about 18 months.

I have a 2016 Sduro Full Seven AllMtn Plus with over 3,800 miles. No unusual chain noises that I can tell. I've replaced the chain twice. Once at under 2,000 miles and again at about 3,500 miles. I clean it and lube it as a non-believer would (i.e. not religiously). It is, indeed, the shiznizzle bike!

@Alphbetadog, thanks for the info on the wheel cones becoming loose. I will keep an eye on them.

Just a follow up to my post. Finally quieted the chain noise completely by a thorough ultrasonic cleaning to get rid of the different lubes I used, then a thorough soak in MucOff C3 ceramic lube. Went for a 25 mile ride and was loving the silence! Even my riding buddy commented on it as to how nice not to hear your bike. So stoked with silent running that the next tires to go on the bike will be Schwalbe SuperMotoX's 27.5x2.8 which are supposed to be much quieter then the Maxxis knobbier I have on it now.
I do find that after a couple of rides it is necessary to refresh the C3, which only takes a few minutes and keeps the chain silent and looking like new!

I would suggest watching the chain carefully. Mine measured good at 1200 miles but had significant stretch at 1500 miles. It's not the cheapest item to replace but well worth saving sprocket wear and tear. I've just replaced it and since the replacement was 126 links and I only needed 111, I'm now running a continuous chain and didn't use the Master Link provided. I've had problems with those on Motorcycle chains.

I've had the replacement for more than year. I'll keep an eye on it. Can't imagine have any trouble with master links with a 1-1.4hp motor.
Never had an issue with them on more than 20 motorcycles, but nothing over 100hp.

How were you able to connect the chain without a master link, assuming you got the KMC as opposed to the Shimano which I believe does not use a master link?

Same as on a motorcycle, Chain break tool. Yes, KMC e11x 126 links which I reduced.
Popped a pin, placed the links, pushed the pin back through.
Now it's a continuous chain without that screwy Master Link.
