Although this happened a few years ago, back in 2016...I never thought about the fact that in a race, someone could be using a hidden motor to help them win...jeez...anything for that gold medal huh?

They continue to check for mechanical doping after every race ever since. One of the checks is a thermal camera or thermometer. I think even 60 Minutes did a segment on that years ago.
