Has anyone like me disabled the power assist function? Is there any problem with doing that? I found the pedal assist bothersome because it would give be a blast of power when I wasn't ready for it. I am happy with the way it works now. I have an older 750w Wallke and I couldn't find a way to turn off the assist without turning the throttle off. I have a twist grip throttle and now I pedal or throttle at will, mix or match and it works great. I was trained on dirt bikes and 4 wheelers and I much prefer to throttle up when I need it or pedal assist the motor when I need it. Do the newer Wallke's allow one to turn off the power assist and still give you the throttle function?
