Please post when you find out the Téos are in!

Congratulations @Jazzcat and a friendly reminder to tieten the bolt on the kickstand, just in case you missed it, mine came so loose that the kickstand was self adjusting the length of it.

Congrats @Jazzcat, a great day and what an E-bike. Glad you like it as much as us.

It is indeed a well put together bike. I saw both a Sondors and Radrover a few days ago. I like my Téo much better.

Even if the Red is not exactly the Red I wanted, I love it. I suspect it goes so fast, the Red turned to Fire Red.

Hi,
Thanks Stephane for the kickstand reminder. I had forgotten about it and will do it this morning.

Yesterday I took the bike through some sand a few inches deep that was challenging on my mountain bike. On the Teo it was as if I was still on a regular trail. The only challenge I had was when I came across some soft deep sand that motorcycles had been playing in, but the Teo handled it much better than any other bike I've ever had. I only stalled out once and that was on a corner. I had to push it to slightly better sand stabilized by some grass and then was able to pedal and full power the bike through the rest. Having a throttle that was active without pedaling would have been helpful getting started in sand, but, with the bike in low, the PAS on 9, and the throttle on, I managed to pedal start the first couple feet and then the motor kicked in from there.

Strangely enough, I liked looking at the bike dirty better than clean! Must be the hillbilly biker in me. :) It will get a bath later today.

Now to go buy locks and saddlebags so I can use the bike to go downtown for shopping. I intend to give this bike a workout!
Best wishes,
Jazzcat

A few photos from my 1st ride. I am seriously impressed, I think I'm in love.

My wife rolled her eyes....

Installed a few accessories, will tweak it a bit.

Hi @Denis Shelston, call me slow but I couldn't remember where I have seen someone post a picture of Téo with a camera attached to the handlebar, it took a while but I found it. Now my question is, what make is the camera and how do you like it? Just for kicks I ordered this one, will see how it works out.

Mine is very similar, Akaso EK 7000. It's OK. Looks same as the one you ordered. Essentially a Chinese knockoff of the GoPro, like mine.

Battery last 30-40 minutes and camera angle is super Ultra wide at 170 degrees. Video quality is good.

Audio is bad, even more so when using the waterproof housing, so I use my phone for audio only, and replace the sound track in post.

I'd love to have one that is not as wide angle.

Mine came with a remote control like a watch, so I can start stop, both photos or videos. Wifi is decent too, connects to phone or tablet well.

Thank you sir, sorry for late replay but my job takes me to places where my wind mobile does not work.

Well if you get a very decent waterproof camera for 35$CAD, that won't be bad at all!! There is a gazillion copies of GoPros out there - most are junk and some are very decent. Gotta sort through! The one you purchased has 60 reviews with a very good average, so I'd be positive. Keep us posted as at that price, if any good, I will get one as well :)
Hope it shows up for the weekend so i can test it, will post the results hopefully with some video and sound.;)

By the way, sound is bad on all of them, even the most expensives, like the GoPro. Nature of the beast. Either the wind, street noise, tire hum, motor noise, etc.

If you use your phone with the headset you got with it, it has a built-in mic. Muffle it and speak normally, works pretty good.

Here is one fella I follow on YouTube, Kobevision, rides à Radrover. He records his back and forth from work. He's got this new Samsung Gear 360d camera. Look at this video on your mobile, touch the screen, swipe around and see it all. Very, very cool.

He has literally dozens of good videos.

Oh... And he works at Tesla. How cool is that?

Hot damn, just when i thought i`ve seen everything... That is very cool. Thanks for sharing @Denis Shelston .

Take the time to watch a few of his videos, essentially he's documenting the ditching of his car for a Radrover, very detailed and very well made, well in my humble opinion....
