Another US buyer I think paid around $225 I think.

Essentially US duties on bicycles made in China, like 90% of all bikes... He posted his invoice from UPS.

@Denis Shelston, I just noticed @Stoker283 has a Teo sticker on the left side of his battery, but not on yours. Same thing happened to me, but Benoit supplied me with the sticker later on. If you want it, wouldn't hurt to ask. I bet you he already does or will have some later.

AARRGGGG! Now Vitran has changed my delivery date to the 14th. I may be leaving the 15th. The bikes are still sitting on Vitrans "dock" in Montreal. They've just moved from Teo's store to there in 2 days. So I called Vitran this morning, actually got through very quickly to customer support, and they were very friendly. They said Montreal has a huge backup of freight, and she said things are actually kind of a mess there right now lol! The delivery date may change again. She did very kindly mark it in the system to "get moving", so hopefully that will help.
Anyways that's the update. I'll see them when I see them......I'm not going to look at any more of the new owners pictures because I am getting extremely jealous

Why are your bikes shipped via Vitran instead of Purolator? is it because they are going by train with Vitran, cheaper than by truck with Puro?

I really don't have any idea to tell you the truth. I didn't have any input on carriers. I wonder if @Jazzcat 's is sitting there beside mine?

Now I'm curious to get your impressions, since you've also ridden a Radrover. How will they compare?

All together! the differences stand out! We all agree this is an outstanding bike! only thing I can pick on is the flat black paint and lack of cup holder location studs. It does the same thing as the rad, when you go to turn around on street, make sure you have the pass turned down.
I have some pics to share. you can see some of the differences..... don't look at them rusty screws...... Bike ride tomorrow! Ill have pics of my converted jet ski trailer.

Very nice @Dan Edwards, nice. I see that you have the Téo sticker on the battery, mine was left out.

Spoke to Benoit at Téo and he is sending me one, with a few screws to install the derailleur guard.

I agree with your flat black comment, that's why I went with the glossy RED.

As for riding, they both have the same power delivery. With Teo you have more options of how much power you want to assist with ( wattage output, is it on the display? ) I like the 9 speed much better. the underside of the bar shifting I will have to adapt too. Brakes, Ill have more on that tomorow! downhill trials. Only rode less than a mile. Ill be swapping the compass for the rads bell.

Rode 18 miles. 2 hrs of peddling, today, with a trailer bike and daughter in tow! The wife was on her Radrover. Terrian was flat to 12% hill climb up and down. Love the hydro brakes! I stayed in pas 1 & 2 on the flat trails, 3 on the small hills. And a all out hill climb 1st gear pas 9. The Rad out pulled the Teo' The battery life used less than 1 bar, the rad used 2 bars [ wife uses throttle to mutch.] We turned plenty of heads riding around town, Lynchburg VA.
Seen a $5000 ebike at our local bike shop. There cheapest, $2500. We have gotten a superior bike for the money. Only complaint. Need cup holder studs! Pictures later
