Like the new naming as indicated in Pinkbike: "Ultimate, Select+, or Select, in order to make it easier to see where a product sits in the RockShox suspension hierarchy". It was a bit confusing in the past to identify which fork was best for individual riding style/class, etc.
I currently have the 2018 Lyrik and have it dialed in to suit riding terrain. An awesome fork indeed.
Perhaps the Fox series will have something on the horizon to compete directly with the new Rockshox series.
FOX's Grip2 is better than what Roxshox is putting out these days. They'll catch up, and then the lead will reverse. Meanwhile, the smaller guys will continue to innovate.... Same story as ever, just a different chapter
