Just joined this forum. Received my Radrover last Friday and I'm enjoying the hell out of it. It was a beautiful fall day yesterday so I took a 30 mile ride on the Music City Bikeway to the Dam and back into town to eat at Mitchell Deli. There is a ridiculously steep hill with several built in pull-off rest stops that sometimes keeps me from taking the route all the way to the dam. I still had to hoof it up that hill by pedaling in low gear with the motor but it was a lot more fun than without electric assist. Hit me up if you are in Nashville and want to do a group ride.

Welcome to the site. Contratulations on a successful purchase.
Hmm. Nashville, about 2 battery charges from here in Kentuckiana. ? I drove the Natchez Trace from Belle Meade to Natchez,MS one time. Pretty out there.
Got to check my maximum range.

Natchez Trace is a beautiful drive where large commercial vehicles are not allowed. A lot of people bike the Park portion but an angry driver intentionally ran over a driver a year or so ago - he went to jail. I'm going to start looking for long gravel roads and single tracks to explore. Maybe we can make a regional back roads ride happen.

I live a mile from the rail yard where the supplies for Gen Ulysses S. Grant came in from NYC on the Big 4 RR. They crossed the Ohio on a ferry near Miegs St ( Meigs was Army Quartermaster) then down the L&N turnpike to Clarksville, Nashville, Chattanooga, and on to Atlanta. I've been thinking the horse/mule people should do an annual Gen Meigs Mule Train from Jeffersonville to Nashville or beyond in good weather, kind of like the S. Texas Salt Grass Trail Texans run in February. Trouble is, I'm not a horse person, I'm a bicycler. Mules are too much work in the winter.
