I am trying to resurrect a 11 years old ecobike elegance. Dead battery and this company doesn’t sell in N America any longer. They quoted $1600.00 Euros for a replacement battery. the battery is a Phylion battery XH370-10J DC 37.0V I’ve been quoted $600.00 (about $425.00USD), to replace it and just wondered if anyone else has a less expensive route I can take?

$425 seems a reasonable price for a battery, you might get a quote from a 3rd party for a battery repack/recell but it probably will be more expensive when you add in hazmat shipping.

For a rebuilt or new battery have you tried contacting Grin? They're very knowledgeable and they're located in Vancouver.
