New guy says hello

Hi All, I am an old guy (76), new to the ebike community. My wife has a new Pedigo City Commuter, so I bought a one owner used Izip E3 Vida to keep an eye on her. The Vida was a good choice for me since it is a relatively light step through design. I had to learn about Bosch batteries and mid drives; and Presta and Schrader valve stems; and different size tires to get them in tip top shape. Also, the battery key was missing from the Vida. I was able to replace the battery key by drilling out the ABUS lock and replacing it with a new ABUS lock and key purchased from 365 Cycles on Ebay. While I was at it, I added fenders and lights to mine. We ride on a old abandoned golf course nearby so we don’t have to worry about other vehicles. We are having a good time, being together and getting mild exercise and fresh air. Regards, Eric
