From a former road bike rider/racer in the 80's and 90's I ended up hanging up riding into the 2000's because of bad knees. Speed forward to 2019 I was at a friends place and saw his RadRover fat tire bike and it really peaked my interest. I started researching and ended up buying a Hemiway cruiser. Was a great bike, especially after I switched out the cable brakes for hydraulic. In 2022 I decided I wanted full suspension and the wife gave me the go ahead and after more research I ended up purchasing a Cobra Pro. I do a lot of riding in the mtns and on the snow so the 4.8" tires were awesome along with the 1000w mid drive......

Welcome aboard! Pretty common story around here: Avid cyclist of one kind or another (MTB in my case). Then one or more decades of little or no riding for various reasons, often knee-related. Then a joyous, ebike-enabled return as a senior.

Moving to a busy suburb with generally crappy riding from home was my main excuse for riding less and less. And moving 20 years later to an area with great riding from home on good bike infrastructure had a lot to do with starting up again. The new hilly terrain and my by-then bum knees stood in the way, but nothing the right ebike couldn't overcome!
