Hi! I got into e-bikes with a super cheap $388 Amazon special and have actually been fairly happy with it. My wife became interested so I let her use that one and decided to get a Swytch conversion kit for my vintage Schwinn Racer 3 speed. Did the 6 month wait so that kit only ran around $450. She has hip issues and the high frame was less than ideal for her so I looked around and ended up finding a 2016 iZip e3 Vibe+ on eBay here in Fort Worth for $80 and managed to find a NOS display and control button from a bike shop for $330 so it’s up and running for a little over $400 and didn’t end up in a landfill.
