Finally got around doing this! I got my XP end of August, surprisingly pretty quick, about 2 weeks wait time. Initial riding impressions were good (my first ebike), just didnt dig the look of a skinny bar high stem with fat tires. Also the logos are super loud visually! So had to make some changes.
st- debadging. Covered all logos with vinyl, pinstripping tapes.
nd- ditched the folding bar/stem and replaced with BMX bar/stem.
rd - drivetrain, 60T chain ring, 11-34t cassette, SRAM shifters, rear derailleur, 175mm crank arms, pedals
th- removed fenders, modified rear shortie fender
th - my original mod - cable actuated, relocated twist throttle. Very discreet. Cable is actuated by another SRAm 7spd shifter. The amount of pull from a 7spd is perfect to turn the throttle lock to lock. The shifter will hold the throttle giving you manual cruise control. only thing you need to get used to is you have to twist forward to give it gas instead of back. I placed the shifter on the left. giving the handlebar a more balanced. less clutter look.
