Just purchased a Ride1Up 500 and have been riding it all week— it is a fantastic ebike and I am using it instead of my car whenever possible. I hope to fit it in my Mazda5 mini van upon my return to Baltimore in 6 mos. Does anyone know about removing the front wheel for car transport? How easy is it! I don’t want to mess anything up.

Welcome! That's a nice bike. Looks like it's a conventional QR (quick release) skewer setup. To remove the wheel, scroll down to page 9 of the manual. Basically, it's a matter of pulling down on the skewer lever and turning it while holding the nut on the other side. This action will free the front fork dropouts until the wheel is released. There are conical springs on either side of the skewer which help to center the wheel.

If you haven't done so already, feel free to check out the Ride1Up subform below: :)
