I am glad that your friend wasn't seriously injured. Today I had a few near misses, one guy was looking at his smart phone as he pedaled. A few others came out of a curve on the wrong side of the trail.

I see a lot of people riding with no hands and looking at their phone. Also, electric skateboarders doing the same thing. Dumb.

I crashed last Friday, fell on my elbow and broke it.

This thread is a great reminder to all of us to perhaps slow down a bit, and be situation aware.

As usual all i was worried about was the damage to my bike, the bar end grip cover got a few scratches and the panniers stopped anything else.
Did not know i had broken anything for several hours afterwards...

I have broken one elbow and dislocated the other.. I have bad luck with elbows
