Multicharger Nyon cockpit / disassembly

Hello everyone

my Nyon controller unit seems to be faulty (pushing the minus button requires extra force for it to actually work). I think the replacement should be pretty straightforward, however I can’t find disassembly instruction for the cockpit stem and the Nyon mounting plate.

did anyone manage to do that at some point ?

No idea, but the switch is probably surface mount bubble or some such? Those are hard to replace unless you have the tools and some experience. Assuming you checked the warranty first and Bosch service.

You’re right. I’m planning on replacing the whole left hand controller but the challenge here is accessing the back of the stem mounting plate where the controller plug is screwed

I dont know how they have mounted it but the regular nyon mount is two screws that take it off the bars. then you can take the screw out of the wire harness. so no matter what you have to remove the mount to access the back of it.
