Hi All- My motor died on my Prodecotech bike. You have as I’m sure you all know they went out of business. Can anyone identify it for a replacement? Here’s some photos and thanks! I’m thinking maybe Mxus?

I appreciate the replies! The motor is loud and doesn't freewheel any longer. I opened the motor up and it had quite a bit of water. I replaced 4 bearings I could get to and cleaned and greased the freewheel assembly. After all of that the motor still does not run as fast as it should or freewheel. I looked at the MX01 and the side with the cassette is different. Perhaps I can change the cassette also. Do you have anywhere to look? I wish I could find the exact motor and just reinstall.

That's a Mariner 500? I stand corrected. Court says it's a geared motor from FSG.

Again, any motor will work, as long as it has enough power and speed for you. You might look at this motor/wheel combo. Order it w/o any of the electricals and it's about $150. Shipping is about $150 too. Any motor you buy will have to be installed in a wheel, so it probably less money to buy the combo, unless you're frugal like me. The motor should be plug/play with your cable. I've bought a motor from this guy.
Being frugal, to justify my ebike hobby, I just buy the motor and put it in a wheel myself, and save the labor at a bike shop.
If you buy a motor.wheel, you will want to pick the higher speed rpm, Typically 260 rpm. Maybe 310 rpm. This is needed to spin the smaller wheel faster. A 210 rpm motor will barely hit 18 mph on 36V.
As for the existing motor, maybe your clutch is rusted up. Spray it with penetrating oil, Your gears are probably freewheel, not cassette. Park Tools has a video on youtube that lets you tell the difference just by looking.

You have the 9 pin julet motor connector cable. They have a stamped number, something like D0817-36400-1424. look for that first. The Prodecotech part number does give some info, but not a lot. It's mostly stuff you already know. if you decide to go with an aftermarket, a pinout of the generic julet can be found online, along with pin size and color coding for pins. You'll need help determining phases and sensors between phases. There are a limited amount of parts on ebay. Today, 2/16/21 I saw a 400w motor. There is a guy selling large lot of bikes and has been selling them for a while. I'm also interested in parts and if he receives enough requests for part outs, he might consider doing that.. Regards

I believe ProdecoTech used Crystalyte motors. I still have my old 2014 model in the garage. I was always told it was a Crystalyte.
Crystalyte supplied a lot of brands at one time and they would actually cast the bike brand and model into the side cases or just leave them blank. They also offer motors for 36V, 48V and special motors designed for folding bikes. All if which Prodeco used. Mine has the name and number cast into the cases, not etched or printed. If those numbers on your hub motors are raised, they are cast and only a few companies did this.
In 2017 they updated the plugs they use, so you might need to swap them out.
