Minor issue with rear rack install and quick fix

While attempting to install my new rear rack on my Rad Rover I noticed that the machined threads on the tabs were smaller/tighter than normal which caused me to strip the hex head screw that was provide.

I went down to Home Depot and purchased a two pack of #10-32 x 3/4 in fine thread socket cap screws. These installed much easier without stripping the hex head.

Most all bicycles use metric threaded eyelets, size M5. If the supplied bolts felt tight going in, the eyelets should be chased with an M5 x 0.8 tap to clear any paint overspray and realign any errant threads.

I also had to add blue Loc-tite to the rack screws because they started to work themselves out after a few weeks of trail riding.

I agree, perhaps my threads were threaded short or incorrectly threaded. I did attempt to use the M5 first (see attached package). The #10-32's seem to do the job.
