Magnum Metro S shuts off after 20 km

My bike has 5500 km on it and is 6 years old.

After having new tires installed, it started having a knocking sound. I go through the gears until it stops. I asked the bike store if they'd just take the back wheel off and replace it to see if that would fix it. The mechanic said he hadn't done anything wrong.

Also,my bike shuts off and won't turn back on. This has happened 4 times - always on the return trip after lunch.

I've replaced the battery, throttle, and display.

I'm thinking I should have started with the engine because of the thumping sound.

I'd sure appreciate any input.

I haven’t used my e-bike in a while and it isn't turning on. What should I do?

If you haven't ridden your Magnum Bike in a while, your battery may have fallen into Sleep mode. To reset your battery, leave it plugged in for 8 hours, uninterrupted. After 8 hours, try powering the bike on.
If this doesn't work, plug the charger into the battery and unplug it 10 times in a row to reset the battery. **Note** This only works after first charging the battery for 8 continuous hours, as described in the previous paragraph.
If the reset is still unsuccessful, please refer to this guide and, if needed, contact Technical Support at 323-375-2666.
