Issue(s) with Specialized App & 'Smart Control'

My experience with Smart Control is bad and I’m wondering what steps are the best approach. Like before, today I started a ride with Smart Control using 35 miles, 500 elevation and 10% battery remaining. After less than five miles, control stopped and bike was in ECO mode. I was able to change to both SPORT and TURBO to finish the ride. Don’t know what happened?

Bike is a Vado 5.0 SL EQ

Happen on occasion to me also, it's apparently something to do with losing the bluetooth connectivity. Been there done that, put the iPhone in a million places.

Hello everyone. Here is an update on Smart Control. I contacted Specialized RiderCare for support and their suggestion was to use the slide bar to change the mileage and other settings when starting Smart Control instead of typing the values into the fields. That worked perfectly and I did a 28 mile ride today all on Smart Control.

I thought the sliders were there from the beginning I'd love to be able to type the desired values but never had that option.
