Luna fat bike suspension fork vs upgraded 2016 topgun from rad or?

Seems like the front suspension fork on my 2015 rad rover is sticking and not working great, I realize it's a very cheap fork and have been considering upgrading it

I saw somewhere that Luna has a fat bike fork for $90 and pretty sure there was a reference that it would fit the rad rover

And contacted rad power, their new Topgun fork that goes on the 2016 will fit the 2015 and it's $200
I saw that fork on a 2016 and it looks way more heavy-duty than the one I have

I don't know much about suspension forks but would be interested in picking one up of better quality for no more than $300

Any impressions or information on fat bike forks would be appreciated

Sorry to hear it's worn out so soon. On my 2016 Radrover the forks seem adequate for the roads & packed trails I take it on. I've cleaned & lightly lubed the stanchions as general maintenance. Compared to the rockshox sid rlc's on my mtn bike, these are quite heavy, light-duty shocks. If I felt they were wearing out in a year or two, I'd probably replace them with the same forks. I recall someone on this forum replacing their rads with luna forks. Certainly there are nicer, more expensive forks out there if big bouncy roads or trails are frequented. Wishing you success on getting the suspension you need.

the 2015 fork was known to be junk, think rad replaced quite a few of them under warranty
the 2016 i saw the fork looked way more heavy duty... but i am no judge...

dont know if this one is worn out or not adjusted right or what, going to have the bike shop check it tomorrow if i have time

but would not be against upgrading if there are any better medium quality forks, from what i have read 2015 fork will have to be replaced at some point anyway
