For many of us, our pets help keep us sane, during good times and bad. During the current pandemic, I am now seeing a LOT of local dogs having a good time as their owners are taking them for more walks while exercising during this 'shelter at home' time.
So let's celebrate all of our pets, whether furry, feathered or scaled who, during these troubled times, help us smile and cope (along with our e-bikes). I'll post up some pics of our furry children and welcome you to do the same with yours!
First up for me is our 'new' kittens, who we rescued just before Christmas. Chocolate and Coconut were and are inseparable litter mates, and I'm really glad that we could offer them a forever home together. Little Chocolate must have been the runt, but she's quick, feisty and can definitely hold her own. She has also started to earn her keep as she has already scored 1 gopher kill. Good girl!
When they are not in my lap while I'm at the computer (and chasing the cursor on the monitor), one of their favorite beds in behind the monitor, in the sunshine:

We rescued Bodie when he was about 1.5 years old. Can't figure out why anyone would have turned him into the animal shelter, unless they had to move or something where they couldn't have animals. When he joined us we had 3 older cats, who we lost one by one - And Bodie got pretty used to being 'the only child'. He loves to go to the beach and, although he's not spoiled (
) he even allows to use his couch in the RV - sometimes!
He loves his new siblings, although they are taking a little while to get used to him.
