When riding, my control unit lights up just fine, then for no reason at all, within 5 min. of riding I get a red flashing light , and the left side of my control unit lights (where the electric assist levels are turns off), the charging light is still on 5 full lights, and the assist shuts on and off internally without any lights showing, just the blinking red light! It has not been in water or mud, it’s been ridden for approximately 6 months in no rain! The shop has installed a spacer under the battery connector, and when it’s connected to their computer to trouble shoot it shows nothing wrong, but still continues to malfunction! This is very frustrating! Any ideas out there?
